It was an afternoon of enjoyment and fun for 80 kids from The Community Concern centre, who were treated to delicious food, Santa, an entertaining Magic show, games, and gifts for all, for their education achievements for the year which was held at the Bayleaf on 15 December.
This was the first year that the children were given an outing for the presentation, by entertaining at The Bayleaf.The Community Concern centre empowers disadvantaged children and adults to improve their lives through education, rehabilitation, vocational development, communication and direct assistance for the most needy and destitute. ‘The children enjoyed the day out at The Bay leaf restaurant for the afternoon program and we enjoyed the opportunity to share the joy of the season with them for the fifth consecutive year with our annual charity project,” said Harpo Gooneratne Managing Director Harpo’s Restaurants and Cafes.
