HS Marketing (Pvt.) Ltd., a subsidiary of Sri Lanka’s leading menswear specialist Hameedia recently launched the largest ever store dedicated to its popular brand Signature in the bustling town of Piliyandala.

Situated next to the main Piliyandala bus stand in the heart of the town, this 3000 sq ft Signature Store is a dedicated and fully-fledged menswear store which caters to all clothing requirements such as formal, casual, party and even ceremonial wear. Its ultra modern ambiance with special lighting and eye catching displays give the experience very cosmopolitan and international feel.

The gala opening of this Signature Store took place recently under the distinguished patronage of Minister of Labour and Labour Relations Gamini Lokuge. Also present on the occasion were former Member of Parliament Sirinal de Mel, Provincial Council Member Niroshan Padukka, and the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Opposition Leader of the Piliyandala Municipal Council.

Speaking on the occasion Minister Lokuge said, “The Piliyandala town is developing at a very rapid pace. It is thus very timely that the Signature Store opened its doors in Piliyandala thus catering to customers’ clothing needs right here, without having to go all the way to Colombo.” The Minister also acknowledged Hameedia’s contribution to the national economy as a truly Sri Lankan company.

“The Signature brand has recorded a phenomenal growth in suburban areas. This brand currently has its dedicated own showrooms in Anuradhapura, Matara and Colombo which have been attracting a large and discerning clientele. This is the primary why we wish to further strengthen our brand in suburban areas,” said Hameedia’s Deputy Managing Director Hussain Sadique.

“Signature is for young, entry-level Sri Lankan men who are both fashion conscious and yet seek value-for-money in fashion solutions. The Signature brings them a wide selection to choose from and is parallel affordable. This is possibly one of the primary reasons for the success of this brand in Sri Lanka,” added HS Marketing Sales and Marketing Manager Samudu de Silva.
