Spa Ceylon – Sri Lanka’s premier spa lifestyle brand – has unveiled three new locations in the first quarter of 2012, with openings at Odel Ward Place, Citrus Hikkaduwa Resort & Kandy City Centre.

Set in the central atrium of Colombo’s most prestigious department store, the new Spa Ceylon Boutique at Odel Ward Place is decorated in distinct Spa Ceylon branding and offers the complete range of Spa Ceylon merchandise attractively laid out for the discerning international clientele patronizing this store.

The second new opening is at the newly opened Citrus Resort in Hikkaduwa, where a tranquil Spa Ceylon Resort Spa & Boutique are centrally located within the hotel. The spa combines traditional Ceylonese elements with contemporary Sri Lankan design to offer guests a uniquely indulgent Ceylonese spa experience.

A highly skilled 10 member spa team is on hand to pamper discerning spa connoisseurs from head to toe, as they indulge in Spa Ceylon’s famed luxury Ayurveda rituals.  The extensive spa menu on offer consists of more than 25 carefully designed signature Spa Ceylon rituals inspired by Sri Lanka’s rich Ayurveda heritage and centuries-old royal health and well-being practices in the grand palaces of ancient Ceylon.

The Kandy City Centre – billed as Sri Lanka’s largest retail mall – plays host to Spa Ceylon’s latest opening, with a compact Spa Ceylon Boutique decorated in iconic Spa Ceylon style located on level 3 of the mall, offering a wide range spa & Ayurveda products as well as fragrant home accessories.

Currently operating in nine locations across the island, with several more new resort spa & boutique locations currently under construction, Spa Ceylon is well on course to have 15 locations open in Sri Lanka by winter 2012. Internationally, Spa Ceylon plans to commence spa operations in India, Singapore & the Middle East later this year, while their products are expected to enter European markets by end 2012.

The Spa Ceylon brand captures the romance of old Ceylon combined with ancient Ayurveda wisdom to create their range of majestic royal spa rituals and luxury product formulae designed to soothe, calm and relax the body, mind and soul.

The uniquely designed jewel green bottles inscribed with Sinhala text and natural formulae enriched with local herbs and essential oils give these luxury Ayurveda products a true Sri Lankan identity.

Ebony hued gift boxes adorned with royal insignia from the Kandyan courts of ancient Ceylon add classic Ceylonese character to the Spa Ceylon gift collection, making them great gifts from Sri Lanka – ideal for both personal and corporate gift giving.

With all their products proudly made in Sri Lanka at their GMP certified modern production facility in the Kalutara district, Spa Ceylon also offers rewarding livelihoods to rural youth and craftspeople in the area. Spa Ceylon strongly believes in supporting rural communities and is actively involved with community trade programs in Kalpitiya for organic Aloe Vera, Meerigama for handmade reed-ware, Mannar for Palmyrah-ware and Panadura for woodcraft.
