As the title partner of Colombo Fashion Week (CFW) Swim, OLU Tropical Water leads the way in promoting healthy living. Sourced from one of the rarest cloud forests found in the upper reaches of the island’s hill country, OLU is one of the first natural mineral water brands from Sri Lanka. BUP_DFT_DFT-18-14

Not all bottled water you buy is sourced from a natural supply of mineral water. Even with the proliferation of bottled water brands in the market-place, you will be hard pressed to find a water brand that conforms to international standards that are on par with brands like Volvic and Evian. Drinking natural mineral water is often described by consumers as a pleasant experience, as the water tastes different to normal drinking water. Eating organic and keeping fit have become part of our modern day lifestyles and it is becoming increasingly important to pay attention to the type of water that we put into our bodies.

CFW launches ‘Swim’ as a third and new season in its annual calendar. Swimwear is a specialised category to showcase the immense growth potential of Sri Lankan swimwear designers and manufacturers. OLU in partnership with CFW aims to promote an active, healthy lifestyle through CFW Swim 2015.

The Managing Director of OLU Tropical Water described the partnership as a natural extension of the company’s aim to support health and wellness. He stated, “Water is life, and OLU, with its unique natural mineral balance, represents one of the best choices a person can make in living a healthy life. We are particularly excited to partner with CFW because the tie-up represents the lifestyle standards and values that we at OLU strive to promote. We are also proud to be meeting a growing demand for pure drinking water.”

“The story of OLU’s source is not only fascinating but, as a brand, it is very relevant to CFW Swim. As a season, CFW Swim connotes an active lifestyle and it gives me immense joy to see this Sri Lankan lifestyle brand, which happens to be our title partner, being raised to make an international impact. Everything about this brand is unique and we are pleased to have them on board,” said Colombo Fashion Week President Ajai V. Singh.
