Successful ‘Food Revolution Day’ promotion at Harpo’s Cafes & Restaurants

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day promotion was held for the first time in Sri Lanka at Harpo’s Cafes & Restaurants. Simple healthy food recipes, vegetarian pizza, smoothies, wraps, spaghetti tomato (recipes from Jamie Oliver website) were featured, coinciding with Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day 16 May 2014.

The Bayleaf Restaurant(Italian), Colombo Fort Café (Fusion food), The Commons Coffee House and Park Street Mews restaurant, saw many aspiring young chefs from age 6-15 years at the workshop making the recipes from scratch and having fun while doing it! “The promotion was a great success with many parents and kids appreciative that we took this initiative.
