Harpo’s Pizza – now in its eighth year of operation – has tied up with YAMU, the popular city guide, to promote an app developed by YAMU, which delivers pizza to your doorstep (in Colombo 1-15 and suburbs). Now you can easily use the app to select a pizza, share your location and get it delivered straight to your home or office.

YAMU is a Colombo city guide with a popular website, magazine and app (over 15,000 downloads). Harpo’s Pizza offers fresh, wood fired, thin-crust pizzas with a variety of creative toppings backed by responsible delivery. Together, these two companies offer you the ease of a smartphone app plus the taste and reliability of an established pizza company. Until 30 June, YAMU and Harpo’s Pizza are happy to offer customers a 20% discount on any pizza when ordered through the app. To use the app, just search for YAMU on the Apple or Android app stores. Then you can download (or update) the latest version of the app. Once you open the app you can read all of YAMU’s usual reviews and, when you get hungry, click on Delivery in the menu. Then you can browse the whole range of Harpo’s pizzas, select your favourite, enter your delivery information (just once) and boom… your order is sent. What happens next is that an alert sounds in the Harpo’s Pizza HQ and emails and SMS are sent to the top management of Harpo’s Pizza and YAMU. That’s how seriously these companies take each order. An SMS sent or call made to confirm the first order and then the Pizza is on the way. It can be tracked from processing to cooking to on the bike – all through the app. Payment is also secure – via cash at the door or via credit card (Visa/Mastercard) which Harpo’s Pizza will confirm (you never have to enter your details online).
