The Kingsbury bags first place at ‘Absolute Bartender Challenge 2013’

E. Cheshan Buddhika from The Kingsbury walked away as the winner of the Absolute Bartender Challenge 2013, Flair Segment, whilst Nalaka Senavirathne won 1st Runner-Up and Best Salesmanship and Public Relation in the ‘Innovative Cocktail’ (classic) segment. The competition was held at The Kingsbury itself. It is noteworthy that the event was organised by Periceyl Ltd in collaboration with the Colombo region Hoteliers, and has been an annual competition that is looked forward to by industry specialists. “It is with great pride that we announce the achievements of both Cheshan and Nalaka. We are very proud to have such talent in The Kingsbury Family and will continue to nurture such prolific talent by encouraging them to participate in stimulating, industry centric competitions that would enhance their skills,” commented The Kingsbury Director General Manager Sunil Dissanayake. Both winners walked away with cash prizes and trophies for their excellence.
