Cinnamon Grand’s Christmas Carnival
Cinnamon Grand’s breezy poolside and surrounding areas will illuminate with the glow of the season combined with a traditional carnival ambiance in presenting the best of family fun, games and activities for children and those young at heart.
The carnival will offer an atmosphere ideal for enjoying the enchanting elements of the season. With typically Christmas features and décor, it promises a truly enticing environment for both children and adults alike.
The fair will set up an array of stalls hosting traditional carnival games with a Christmas twist as well as fun rides, providing for an evening of entertainment and exhilaration for children of all ages. Take a chance at ‘Get the Grinch – night bowling’, ‘dart games’, ‘Christmas twister’, ‘ring the Christmas tree’, ‘balloon burst’ or ‘guess the candy jar’, to name a few. Adults too will not be forgotten with plenty of games to keep them entertained. One of the unique features of this year’s carnival will be the ‘best dancing parent and child’ competition, giving parents and kids a chance to boogie merrily and walk away winners!
If that’s not merry enough then enjoy the delicious treats including carnival classics such as candy floss, popcorn and ice cream in addition to a combination of traditional and freshly created Christmas candies and sweets. Subdue the sugar rush with all the snacks and food items served at the food stalls, including traditional carnival hot dogs making for a fulfilling dinner, for the whole family.
Make family memories
Parents can sip on a poolside drink as the evening sets in while the kids enjoy a sweet drink in between their games. You can all traverse the merry-go-round, frolic with the magic balloons, get your face painted, join in carols, get competitive with the games to win take home toys and make family memories that will last a lifetime. We even have a Polaroid camera booth for that very purpose!
Cinnamon Grand’s Christmas carnival was a first in Sri Lanka, with the initial carnival held in 2009. Since then, it has become an annual tradition which is constantly bettered each year with new concepts and offerings.
