Herza. THEFACESHOP has been recognised as one of the fastest growing skin care and cosmetic brands in the Asian region. In 2003 the brand was introduced to countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and parts of the Middle East such as Dubai where the brand has gained considerable popularity and expanded its retail network of standalone and shop in shop branded stores.

One of the reasons THEFACESHOP brand has been growing this rapidly is due to its wide and affordable range of skin care and colour make-up, making it hard even for well-established UK and US brands to compete. THEFACESHOP brand spread across 1,160 well laid-out, customer friendly stores across the globe.

THEFACESHOP was introduced to Sri Lanka by the Abans Group in 2011 and has become widely accepted by local consumers. “We have loyal customers who have been faithful to THEFACESHOP for years and were delighted that the brand is now available in Sri Lanka,” stated a representative of THEFACESHOP Sri Lanka. She added that first time customers were a little hesitant at the start as they were not too familiar with the brand; however once they tried the brand they just kept coming back for more. One reason for this is that customers were able to view visible differences in their skin, e.g. brighter skin tones, significantly less break-outs and visible reductions in facial blemishes.
