In line with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission’s recent directives, TNL Radio Network’s three stations, TNL Radio, Lite FM and Rhythm FM moved to new frequencies as of 1 November 2012.

TNL Radio, Sri Lanka’s first private radio station, launched on 23 July 1993, and winner of the prestigious NAB Broadcast Excellence Award in 1997, will be shifting to 99.2 and 101.8.

TNL Radio serves up a mix of today’s biggest hits along with entertainment news and some of the industry’s most distinctive and energetic radio personalities. Lite FM, the network’s adult contemporary radio station, can be found on 87.6 and 87.8, bringing you today’s best variety, drawing from classics of the 80’s, 90’s and today.

Rhythm FM is TNL Radio Network’s Sinhala language station and will be moving to 95.6 and 95.8. The station, with its youthful and energetic vibe, fresh local hits and innovative events will continue to forge new paths in the Sri Lankan music industry for years to come.

With many firsts to boast of, including being first on the web and the first station in South East Asia to broadcast live online, TNL Radio is of the opinion that change is a good thing.

TNL Radio is also excited about the opportunities that this change presents us to give our listeners wider coverage and better service. They look forward to continuing to bring together the best in music, entertainment, live events and news to their valued listeners.
