ToyWatch, the Italian designer watch brand favoured by celebrities around the world, has debuted in Sri Lanka exclusively with Odel, the country’s top fashion and lifestyle retailer.
Described as a brand that interprets luxury, ToyWatch was founded in 2006 to create contemporary wrist fashion that uses ongoing research into new materials, shapes and colours, to produce collections that are updated on a yearly basis to dictate fashions and trends.
In just seven years, the brand has won over a host of celebrities including Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Jordan, Robbie Williams, Sylvester Stallone, Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Naomi Campbell, Elisha Cuthbert, Hayden Pannettiere, Randy Jackson and Snoop Dog.
Selected items from several unique ToyWatch collections are now available at ODEL’s flagship store at Alexandra Place.
ToyWatch appeals to those looking for a distinctive symbol of their own personality -- determined, unpredictable and far-removed from stereotypes. It is a collection of carefree, showy and self-confident watches that are the ideal option for people who choose not to take themselves too seriously and have clear-cut preferences.
Exploiting to the fullest the luxury of being able to dare and experiment with forms, materials and colours to create an innovative collection of watches, ToyWatch stands out for the attention given to detail, the symmetry of the shapes and the ongoing research for innovative materials, often ‘merged’ with each other to create collections with elements of surprise.
The materials used range from polycarbonate, light and transparent, to plasteramic which is shinier than other polymers, versatile and available in every shade of colour; from aluminium to steel, and Swarovski elements that embellish and illuminate dials and straps. ToyWatch collections are designed with an ironic and original touch, whilst never forsaking class and elegance.
ToyWatch is now present on five continents with a distribution network of more than thirty boutiques and over 2,000 stores including jewellers, fashion stores and department stores such as Selfridges and Harrods in London, the famous Galleries Lafayette in Paris and Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom in the United States.
