Identifying the gap in the market, Triumph fulfilled the need by introducing the never-seen-before beginner bras, cementing its status as the innovator of exquisite lingerie. With a heritage of over 128 years, this addition to the Triumph portfolio is created with the latest technology, world class raw materials and keeping in line with international quality standards.

The collection was unveiled at the Triumph Boutique in Majestic City by renowned television drama actress Meena Kumari Perera, who is also a mother of a teenage daughter. As a mother, Meena Kumari was elated with the launch of the beginner bra as she too noticed the gap in the market when shopping for her teenage daughter.

“The creators of exquisite lingerie with over 128 years of experience, Triumph is the first brand to launch a collection exclusively designed for the first time wearers. Every girl should experience Triumph’s beginner bras. The age-appropriate designs provide the right support for young girls. It is well suited for school girls and teenage girls who require low to medium support,” stated Amal Fernando, Head of Operations – Triumph International Sri Lanka.

Although it is a beginner bra, Triumph looks at every need. After much research on the Sri Lanka market, Triumph has made the beginner bra available in a wide variety of sizes. It is built with 90% cotton and 10% elastin to give it streachability to suit the active lifestyle of young teens and to complement with the high humidity level in Sri Lanka.

Elaborating further, Fernando noted, “We have spoken to many schools in Sri Lanka and designed the colours of the bras to standards accepted by all schools. All the colours in the wide range of the beginner bra portfolio are suited to wear with any uniform.”

The new collection is specially made for the needs of young girls and teens. It supports healthy breast development and helps prevent injury to breast tissue while playing sports. The collection is wire free and made with natural cotton to provide the wearer comfort and a natural feel. The ultra-modern series of beginner bras are made from natural cotton for simplistically modern, super reliable and ever-so comfy choice. It is the perfect under layer for a chic casual look.

The collection features three distinct styles that provide full cup coverage. The first of the three styles has a high neck bridge with an elastic band at the bottom, providing stability and support to the wearer. The cup is ultra-thin padding to give the wearer a smooth shape. This style also has wide shoulder straps to prevent it from digging into skin, making it an ideal choice for everyday wear.

The second style comes in double layer for a smooth shape, appearance and reduced transparency. This too is non-wired, with an elastic band at the bottom and has a ‘crop top style’ cut.

The third design features a lower band and bandeau looking shape which similar to the other two styles, provides full cup coverage, stability and support.

With the novel launch of beginner bras to a new segment in Sri Lanka, Triumph has yet again proven to be the world leading maker of lingerie and expert in captivating new confidence.
