Turret, a designer store catering to the niche high-end clientele for luxury watches, gems and jewellery, showcased the all new Toccata collection by Raymond Weil, on 18 October 2014 at their flagship store. Accentuating elegance, simplicity and timeless beauty, the Toccata collection embodies the brand’s boldness and creativity, with its quality finish and sober design. The watch offers a clean rounded case 42 mm dial in steel, yellow gold, PVD coated steel and a discreet date window situated at 3 o’clock. The refinement of the case with its pure lines blend harmoniously with the rounded sapphire crystal is the hallmark of the collection. Respecting the tradition passed down generations and paying homage to the source of their inspiration, the composer, the tempo of this Toccata collection rings out beautiful creations reflecting their elegant, simplicity and timeless style. Thus the collection celebrates the artistic spirit behind every creation, whether in watch-making or in music. Founded in Geneva in 1976, Raymond Weil is one of the last remaining Swiss independent family-owned and family-operated watch-making companies. The brand takes extensive aegis in designing of its watches in order for them to combine ergonomics, refinement and modernity. While this knowledge and passion have been handed down from generation to generation within the family, so has the love of music! Music has always been an essential, intrinsic component of Raymond Weil’s DNA. With over 35 years of involvement in the music industry across all genres, the Swiss watchmaker composes its timepieces in much the same way musicians compose their overtures. Turret is the renowned ‘authorised retailer’ for Raymond Weil and ‘sole authorise retailer’ for other brands such as Montblanc, Baume & Mercier and 88 Rue De Rhone, thus making the company the only location in the city to sell all these brands under one roof within the Sri Lankan market. With its state-of-the-art service centre, fully equipped to provide all repair and maintenance for Swiss brand watches, the company is built to be on par with global standards. The Turret showroom is located at No. 64 Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 3.
