Young Ramiz does Galadari proud

The Galadari Hotel celebrated yet another win this year at the 23rd National Bartenders Cocktail and Flaring Competition 2014 organised by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association. Young Ramiz Haja did the hotel proud by securing 1st place in the Colombo regional awards ‘Classical’

category and has high hopes on securing the ultimate title ofAsia Pacific Bartender of the Year Cocktail 2014. Hailing from Kandy Ramiz amazed all with his special after dinner cocktail ‘Malt Revolution’. Commenting on his victorious achievement Ramiz said that he hopes to do his best in the next All Island finals which will open doors to compete on an international level. He also sent out a heartfelt thanks to his mentor Restaurants Manager – Training Clive De Costa, F&B Manager Thushantha Kariyawasam, Assistant Manager Food and Beverage – Bars Sumedha Devapriya, Manager Training Kavinda Rankothdevella and Restaurants Manager Harsha Guruge. Commenting on Ramiz’s victory Clive De Costa stated, “I truly feel that Ramiz has a bright future ahead of him. This young man is very determined and eager to learn. He is also humble by nature therefore I am sure he will make his mark in the industry.”
