Daya Aviaton expands fleet with Rs. 500 m investment in new Airbus Helicopter

Daya Aviation, one of the Daya Group’s subsidiaries, will be introducing a brand new Airbus Helicopter EC130T2 to Sri Lanka - making it one of the largest helicopters available in the country for commercial services - in March 2015. “This marks a tremendous milestone in the company’s 11-year growth,” Daya Aviation said. With the addition of the new helicopter, Daya Aviation will be the only IATA-approved aviation company in Sri Lanka offering both fixed wing and helicopter charter services under one roof.

The company already owns two fixed wing aircraft: a four-seater Beech Craft Baron operating out of Ratmalana Airport and a 19-seater Jetstream 32 operating out of the United States.
