TMC Jaffna Vice Chairman appointed Senior Consultant of Bartleet Religare Securities for North and East

Vivekananthan Niranjan

Niranjan has played a pivotal role in developing the equity market space, particularly among the discerning investors in the Northern region when he was acting as an Agent of Bartleet Religare Securities during the period 2002 to 2022. He was largely instrumental and supportive to the Colombo Stock Exchange when it commenced exploring the possibilities of opening a branch in Jaffna.

Niranjan was attached to Euroville Group as the Senior Finance Manager during the period 2002 to 2022. He is an active member of The Jaffna Chamber of Commerce and The Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yarlpanam (CCIY), of which he was a member of the board during the period 2002 to 2006. Currently, Niranjan serves as a Senior Consultant to Jaffna Chamber of Commerce. Niranjan is also the coordinator of The Jaffna Managers Forum, through which he has been actively involved in the growth and development of SME sector. In this endeavour, Niranjan has successfully organised more than 500 seminars aiming to provide much needed support to the SME sector of the Northern region.

Given his experience, competency and active participation in promoting business opportunities, we are confident that Niranjan will add more value to further strengthen the Investment Advisory teams of BRS based in Jaffna and Batticaloa branches, of which two senior investment advisors have been servicing the investor needs of the former since 2010.
