The refurbishment of the iconic Galadari Hotel is progressing rapidly, with its loyal patrons eagerly anticipating its reopening, tentatively scheduled for 25 August. Since its closure, the hotel has remained inaccessible except for the main banquet hall, café, restaurant, and laundry facilities, which continue to operate.

The transformation promises a strikingly modern exterior and interior, with the entire hotel undergoing a complete overhaul. All rooms, banquet halls, and facilities will be upgraded to create a state-of-the-art establishment, catering to a diverse clientele. The revamped hotel will offer enhanced accommodations, modern office and retail spaces, and a variety of dining options to suit all preferences.

At a farewell reception held before the hotel’s closure, guests were treated to an impressive video presentation showcasing the planned refurbishment. The well-crafted preview provided a detailed glimpse into the hotel’s future design and facilities, leaving attendees thoroughly impressed. Upon completion, the Galadari Hotel will be rebranded as “Radisson Blu by Galadari”, marking the beginning of a new chapter for this renowned establishment.

The refurbishment has also affected the TMC lounge and meeting rooms, which were vacated to facilitate renovations. Members of The Management Club (TMC) from Colombo, Mount Lavinia, Negombo, Moratuwa, and Jaffna are eagerly looking forward to reconnecting with the newly rebranded Radisson Blu and resuming their activities in the upgraded facilities.

This eagerly awaited transformation will undoubtedly elevate the hotel’s reputation as a premier destination for hospitality, dining, and events.
