TMC’s Membership Directory delayed

Although the Daily Financial Times page on TMC carried a news item together with individual letters calling for information pertaining to members to be collected, collated and published in a Membership Directory with other historical data, the response has been disappointing, to say the least.

Overall response has been a little over 100! TMC’s Membership of Ordinary, Life and Platinum exceeds 300 and 100 is far short of the 300 that was expected.

Below is one of the news releases that appeared as far back as last year, in order that TMC may have been able to launch the directory to coincide with its 20th anniversary celebrations. TMC urges those who have failed to send their information to do so even at this late stage.

Although there have been many communications in the past in the DFT in particular, to members to provide up-to-date details of their employment/address/phone, residential address/phone and email addresses, regrettably very few have responded. Since the proposed Membership Directory would become a historical publication, which among many other useful information, will comprise a complete directory of membership.

Since time is of essence, it is provided herewith a format which can be completed and sent to the secretariat together with a recent photo on or before 30 September: Name, NIC No., Res/Add, Phone, Mob/Personal Email, Current Employment/Business, Title, Address, Phone, Mob No.

In the anniversary year, all members will be provided with an “Exclusive” lapel pin and perhaps a set of cuff links, which will depict the logo, 20th Anniversary, membership category, etc., both of which together with the membership directory will be excellent mementoes for the exclusive membership.
