TMC to open doors in Kandy

The Management Club (TMC), in its bid to expand the existing network and to provide opportunity for professionals, and entrepreneurs who live in Kandy to join the club has laid plans to open its doors in Kandy. The Board of Management of the TMC has taken this decision at the request of several professionals from the region. This will be the seventh chapter to be established under TMC. The sixth chapter was established in Jaffna in 2023, which has gained a lot of recognition in the North due to the enthusiasm of the current committee and the members.

The Kandy TMC will be formed and run in the same way all other chapters are run which means that the members will be enabled to network with individuals with professional and entrepreneurial background. Business forums, conferences and social events usually conducted by the TMC will be no exception for the new club. The regular meeting point of the club will be a star class hotel which will offer members special benefits.

The pivotal foundation of the management club hinges upon networking among its members who are from diverse professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds. The members bring respective experience and exposure gained in their work life. Hence, it promotes sharing knowledge and exploring business opportunities through a series of events and gatherings. Presently the main branch of the TMC is located at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo and its branches are based in Mount Lavinia, Panadura, Wattala, Negombo and Jaffna.

As a prestigious professionals’ body, The Management Club hopes that the new branch in Kandy will add value to its network and gather momentum as it is installed. The first 25 members who join the Kandy TMC will be granted the membership with no enrolment fees and just Rs. 15,000 as annual membership fees. In order to maintain the professional ethos, the TMC has nurtured over the years, the membership is given on merit after assessing the suitability of the candidate.
