The 17th Annual General Meeting of The Management Club Colombo was held on the 31 August at 6.30 p.m. at Orchid Hall, Hotel Galadari and assigned the new Executive Committee for year 2022/2023. 

Dr. Pradeep Edward assigned as the Chairman of TMC Colombo. He counts over 25 Years of corporate experience in both local and multinational companies, with over 20 years of experience at management level and 10 years at board Level COO and CEO capacity. 

He is a Fellow member of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), and holds three Fellowships from the CIM–UK, Institute of Management Specialists– UK and an Honorary Fellowship from the Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM). He is also a Certified Professional Marketer (Asia Pacific), Practicing Marketer (SL) Certified Professional Finance Manager (UK) and Chartered Marketer from (UK). 

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing / Business Management and Finance and, he holds an MBA and a Ph.D and an International Certified Trainer and Coach; won the CEO of the year award at Sri Lanka leadership awards in 2020. He was a Past President of Sri Lanka Institute Marketing and the Pharma Promoters Association of Sri Lanka. He has been a General Secretary of Sri Lanka Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry (SLCPI) in association with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. 

Currently, he is the Secretary General of the Asia Marketing Federation, the Director/ GM of Hemas Capital Hospitals. He was the CEO of Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics associated to Lanka Hospitals.

TMC Colombo Vice Chairman Priyantha HapuarachchI, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants United Kingdom and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He was the immediate Past President of the Sri Lanka Russia Business Council. Presently functions under the Ministry of Industries as a Board Member for National Salt Ltd. and has held the position of Finance Director/ Chief Financial Officer of leading organisations in the private sector.

TMC Colombo Secretary Duneeshya Bogoda, holds a MBA degree from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) and a B.A. Degree from the University of Kelaniya. Over 10 years of experience in the corporate sector and the Owner of Dunee’s Kitchen, DUNEEB and 4D Events; freelance MBA student consultant and was a national level swimmer. 

TMC Colombo Treasurer Dr. Chatura Wijesuriya, has over 35 years of experience in Operational Management across several diverse industries. He is presently engaged as Head of HR at Royal Ceramics Lanka. He is holding an MBA in Management from Cardiff University London. 

Sharp Print Expo Ltd. Chairman/ CEO Ranjith Fernando, a BOI Company engaged in printing and packaging. He was the Immediate Past President of Sri Lanka Association of Printers. He holds a B. Com degree from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and AIB (Sri Lanka), BMF (Japan) and MAAT (Sri Lanka). Ceylex Renewables Group of companies Chief Financial Officer Tharindu Wijetunga. He has an MSc in Strategic Financial Management from the University of Dundee and is an Associate Member of the CIMA and an Associate Member of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA-UK). He specialised in pricing strategies; and certified scuba diver. 

Business entrepreneur Suhayl Sangani, who is the Director/General Manager at Ceylon Jewellery Manufacturers Ltd. He graduated in Business Management from the Colombo School of Business Management. Ceymondu Travel Ltd. Managing Director since 2012 and a member of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka Ajeet De Soyza. He is the current President of the Sri Lanka Tourism Toastmasters Club.

Senior Banker Nilani Seneviratne, Vice President at a global bank. She is a Board Member of the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC). Winner of “Sri Lanka Woman Leader” Award. Ahmed Hannan, Manager HRD Royal Ceramics Lanka and Certified International Trainer. Dr. Nilmini Withana who is the Chairperson of Western Health care pvt Ltd, CEO Med Connect pvt LTD, Local Partner at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, Local Partner at Apollo Hospital in India and Founder Chairperson of Sri Lanka Scoliosis Awareness program. 

Mahesh Senanayake counts  nearly 22 years of experience in the media communication and marketing industries. He is the founder/director of Big Smile Voyages and Academy of Best studies. He has a MBA(Aus), MABE(UK), and CIM(UK). He is a former rugby player and referee. Bogawanthalawa Tea Estate's CEO Manjula Samarakoon. He is currently reading for Doctor of Business Administration - University of Kelaniya. He has obtained MBA from University of Colombo and Master's in HR and Labour Relations from University of Colombo. He is a Certified Trainer at City and Guild London.
