Navigating the tax landscape: The year kicked off with a session on “Latest Tax Reforms” by KPMG Principal Tax and Regulatory Rifka Ziyard. This insightful session equipped members with crucial knowledge to navigate the ever-evolving tax landscape.

Demystifying Time Management:  TMC Colombo pioneer chairman and TMC-Jaffna Advisor Jude M. Joseph,, took the stage for the inaugural “Members Speak” session, titled “Time Management: Myths and Mysteries.” His practical tips and engaging anecdotes shed light on this often-daunting concept, fostering lively discussions and peer-to-peer learning.

Charting Jaffna’s future:  As testament to its commitment to the region’s growth, TMC-Jaffna partnered with the University Business Linkage of the Jaffna University (UBL-Jaffna) to host a thought-provoking discussion on “Unlocking prosperity: The visionary greater Jaffna development plan 2033.” The event featured representatives from the Northern Province Urban Development Authority, who unveiled the comprehensive plan for Jaffna’s future, now readily accessible on the club’s LinkedIn page.

Empowering the next generation: Recognising the vital role of career preparation, TMC-Jaffna organised a dynamic “Resume writing workshop for Management students and talent search” on 2 December. This interactive session, buzzing with networking opportunities and expert guidance on resume crafting, empowered budding professionals to confidently enter the job market.

Celebrating achievements, building bonds: As the year drew to a close, members gathered for a celebratory “Year-end get-together” at J Hotels, Jaffna, on 13 December. This festive event provided a platform to cherish the club’s achievements, strengthen bonds, and envision a future brimming with possibilities.
