ACCA Sri Lanka awards Amba Research with Approved Employer Platinum Status

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) presented Amba Research (Amba) with the Approved Employer Platinum Status Certificate recently, for the support it provides to employees who choose to train to become ACCA members. Amba offers services such as equity research, fixed income and credit research, quantitative research, sales and marketing, corporate finance, and compliance to the world’s leading buy-side and sell-side firms.

Amba’s delivery centres are ISO 27001 certified for information security. Amba met the quality criteria for the award of the Approved Employer Platinum Status, which means that all finance and accounting employees at Amba who are registered as students with ACCA will receive valuable support for their ACCA examinations. They will also gain practical experience that enables them to acquire the range of competencies required of finance and accounting professionals in business today. The award also recognises the ongoing support given by Amba for the continuing professional development (CPD) of qualified finance professionals. ACCA Chief Executive Helen Brand OBE presented the certificate to Amba Research Sri Lanka Country Head and Director Chanakya Dissanayake. Head of ACCA Nilusha Ranasinghe said: “ACCA greatly values the opportunities Amba provides to ACCA students and members to gain an internationally recognised qualification and to pursue varied and rewarding careers. “The ACCA team looks forward to working with Amba in a number of areas including, presentations and workshops for trainees, continuing professional development, networking and other events for finance professionals and support to help learning and development and manage performance and ensure that finance professionals make a huge contribution to the future success of the industry at large.” ACCA as the global body for professional accountants have always worked towards developing new collaborations and initiatives to support their members and students around the world, with the aim of helping them develop successful careers in accounting and business.
