The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) launched its 10th Corporate Partner Program under the theme ‘Pioneering the Beat of National Change’.
This year, CIMA is partnering with 31 leading employers in the country to groom professionals that would lead businesses to endure excellence; through exposure to cutting edge practices, knowledge, know-how and opportunities for business networking. Every year, CIMA invites a selected number of leading employers to lead this endeavour.
In a statement, CIMA Asia Pacific Regional Director Irene Teng said: “The employability of our CIMA members and students is the cornerstone of the CIMA Professional Qualification and for this, we are grateful to our Corporate Partners who give their strong and undivided support to their employees who study the CIMA qualification. Not only do they support our students, they also employ CIMA qualified professionals who hold the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.”
Commenting on this year’s program, CIMA Sri Lanka Board Chairman Manjula de Silva elaborated: “In line with its mission of helping people and businesses to succeed, CIMA believes in engaging closely with the corporate community in Sri Lanka who employ a significant number of CIMA qualified professionals.”
The CIMA Corporate Partner program offers opportunities for their representatives to attend training and networking events facilitated by world renowned speakers which inculcate competencies required to drive sustainable business and individual success. This year’s program was officially launched on 27 January at a gala event held at the Atrium Lobby, Cinnamon Grand attended by many professionals in the public and private sectors.
