SLIM students obtain UK MBAs

Twenty seven Sri Lankan students who followed the Buckinghamshire New University MBA at the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) have graduated this year. SLIM facilitates the entire course in Sri Lanka, the duration of which is one-and-a-half years.

SLIM President Thushara Perera said that this was yet another instance of the success of SLIM as an educational organisation. “The results are most encouraging. This provides the impetus needed for us to forge ahead in providing educational opportunities to Sri Lankan students. We are proud of our students and their achievements.”

Pointing out that MBA was s the world’s most popular business qualification designed to provide students with the understanding of major business functions, SLIM CEO/ED Sanath Senanayake said that SLIM provided the students the opportunity to start at the very base of marketing qualifications, i.e. Preliminary Certificate in Marketing (PCM) and study right up to the MBA.
