12th SLIM Brand Excellence boosted with host of sponsorships

The 12th SLIM Brand Excellence organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing has been given a further boost with a host of sponsorships. COKE, Etisalat, Singer Plus, DSI, QP Employment and SR Steel (Pvt) Ltd have partnered this year’s Awards as Platinum Sponsor, Official Telecommunication Partner, Main Sponsor, Corporate Sponsor, Silver Sponsor and Co-sponsor respectively, in addition to a host of service sponsors. Wijeya Newspapers together with its publications – Daily FT, Sunday Times, Adha and Daily Lankadeepa – are proud to be the Official Print Media Partners of this mega event. Official handing over of the sponsorship cheques were held during the participants’ press briefing, on 29 July 2013 at Kingsbury Colombo. Aptly themed ‘Will you be behind the next biggest brand?’ SLIM Brand Excellence recognises both the brands that have thrived for greatness and their custodians for the countless efforts put in towards bringing those brands to life. By organising this competition, SLIM, the national body of marketing, expects to encourage Sri Lankan marketers in building resilient brands that are globally sought after, thereby raise the bar of marketing profession in the country. The patronage of sponsors, in this context is of immense value in elevating the standard of the awards to greater heights this year.
