The Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit of the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo has joined hands with the private sector to organise a series of guest lectures for their postgraduate students.
While the faculty has maintained the quality of the MBA for over 30 years, as part of continuous quality assurance, the faculty is keen to collaborate with the private sector to obtain expert knowledge and experience to provide adequate industry exposure to both their undergraduates and postgraduates. While the faculty revises the MBA curriculum with the changes in industry requirements, the MBA now includes two residential workshops, each spanning four days, a foreign tour, and regular guest sessions under each subject matter. This knowledge-sharing session was conducted in collaboration with Sunquick Lanka Ltd., covering current global marketing strategies and global marketing strategies of Sunquick, facilitated by Co-Ro A/S Director (New Markets) Gert Olsen, and CW Mackie PLC Chief Operating Officer, FMCG Operations Jerome Jayasinghe.
