Perez Daniel has been appointed Executive Creative Director of Loops, one of Sri Lanka’s premier creative-led integrated marketing agencies.
Perez has over 20 years of experience in the creative industry with a proven record of client satisfaction, business growth and impactful work.
Perez is an extrovert with a transformational leadership style and holds an impressive track record in advertising and marketing communications, having completed successful tenures at global marketing and communications powerhouses, such as Wunderman Thompson, Young & Rubicam, Saatchi & Saatchi, and DDB.
Discussing the next stage of his professional journey, Perez said: “I am excited to be joining such a vibrant and diverse agency that adopts a creative-led, integrated approach. He personally spearheaded the launch of Bharti Airtel in Sri Lanka, built the brand-identity for Chaaya Hotels & Resorts (Sri Lanka and the Maldives), launched Arpico Insurance, re-positioned Arpico Supercentre, built a competitive culture for Contract Advertising (subsidiary of Wunderman Thompson), and partnered in prestigious projects like So Sri Lanka and Positive Sri Lanka.
Perez has won several major national and international awards for his work, including a Silver Spike – Direct & Sales promotion, a Bronze Abby – Design Craft, was a D&AD finalist (Craft-Typography/Poster) and ADC finalist (Fine Art), and won the Reggie Candappa Creative Award for Craft – A.D., while being instrumental in the Award for Best Effort in Tourism Marketing Launch 2007 – Travel & Tourism, instrumental in WTA campaigns for Sri Lankan Airlines and PATA Gold Award for Marketing Media – CD Rom category for Chaaya Hotels & Resorts.
