Samsung Sri Lanka was ranked the No. 1 Electronics brand by Brand Finance Lanka, in its 16th consecutive review of Sri Lanka’s most valuable brands in LMD’s Brands Annual 2019 Edition of Sri Lanka’s Leadings Brands complied by Brand Finance. This triumph reflects Samsung’s brand strength, product innovation, superior quality and service leadership in the industry which has won people’s hearts. LMD’s Most Loved Brands 2019 ranking is based on a survey which determines the strength of a brand based on the attributes of quality, reliability, distinctiveness, reputation and trustworthiness.
Sri Lanka’s favourite smartphone brand

QLED TVs wow customers
Samsung Electronics officially unveiled its revolutionary 8K TV, at the 2018 IFA event in Berlin and then subsequently in Sri Lanka. The new TV combines the market’s highest resolution with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that optimises content for 8K presentation – producing truly lifelike images and sound, and enabling users to enjoy a much more better viewing experiences. Samsung has been the world’s number one TV manufacturer for 13 consecutive years, thanks to a commitment to setting new standards for picture quality. With the unveiling of QLED 8K, the company has once again raised the bar for both.
Samsung’s signature after-sales service
Samsung Sri Lanka also leads in after sales service, with 29 sales centres island-wide including 14 centres for mobile repairs and 15 centres for consumer electronics. Samsung stands out from the rest by offering customers a service van visiting customers’ doorstep to repair the consumer electronics products. This is available in Colombo and its suburbs. Infusing further convenience, customers can avail of its call centre service, operating from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. As a symbol of customer centric organisation, Samsung has commenced ‘1 hour mobile phone repair’ service in Colombo precincts.
Samsung portfolio also comprises other smart devices such as Galaxy buds and Galaxy watches. Samsung’s IoT range offers an eco-system of innovative products such as the Samsung Smart Home, Smart TV and Smart Washing Machines.
Samsung’s plans for 2019 include a continual roll out of innovative new product offerings and value added services, to cater to the needs of the Sri Lankan market.
