Seeni Colombo, a design and creative consultancy, carving a niche in the space of conscious creativity, has made an impressive debut at the 4As Advertising Awards Festival 2024, clinching two Silver Awards, one Bronze Award and seven finalists’ slots. The agency picked up two Special Silver Awards for Best PR Campaign for Sound Therapy for Fortude, and Best PR Campaign for Unleashing the Nations Spirit for Nations Trust Bank. They also received a Bronze Award for Best Static for Sesquipedalian - Theatre Lead Language School.
Seeni Colombo positions itself as the ‘anti-agency’, operating without a fixed office and collaborating with the right talent suited for the project instead of on boarding permanent staff. The focus on purpose-driven creativity has made them a much sought-after consultancy for companies looking for branding, design, and content solutions with a focus on sustainability, purpose-driven work and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). This is a speciality that the Co-Founders Dushan Pieris, Mario De Soyza and Ransley Burrows have acquired from their extensive overseas exposure, working in multinational creative agencies, and overseeing the creative output for global brands based in the Greater Mekong Region, based in Thailand and Myanmar.
Co-founder Mario De Soyza had this to say, “Seeni Colombo was born of the realisation that money spent marketing products and services should also positively shape and benefit the community we live in. This principle of Conscious Creativity is even more important today, as modern marketing tactics invade popular culture and play a prominent role in shaping social norms.”
Sound Therapy by Fortude is a testament to Seeni Colombo’s ability to merge brand, purpose, and creativity with technology.
The microsite features nature photography embedded with ASMR sounds, providing customised soundscapes to help Fortude employees around the world improve their mental wellness by promoting relaxation and mindfulness in the post-COVID, hybrid working environments.
“We are very selective when it comes to choosing our clients,” quipped Dushan Pieris. “Having the right chemistry is important. We are blessed to have clients who trust and believe in us and share common ideals of what good work should be.”
“Our philosophy of conscious creativity drives us to create meaningful and impactful work,” added Ransley Burrows. “God has been amazingly good to us. Winning these awards in our first year is confirmation that we are on the right path.”
