STAR Holdings International Ltd., Sri Lanka’s emerging force for innovative fabric care, tied up with the prestigious Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Sri Lanka for its first START Academy course, code named as THE ACE.
START Academy will provide exclusive one on one training especially in areas such as sales and marketing, leadership, public participation, and in terms of the application and use of technology.
THE ACE is the Certification course on Practical Sales and Marketing where CIM qualified top and senior lecturers will conduct the course.
Spearheading the venture and speaking to the press, Sri Lanka’s Brand Veteran, Author, Co author for International publications, Business Strategist and General Manager Marketing, Sales and Corporate Strategy of Star Holdings International Hashan Haputhanthri said, “This is a historic moment where we tie up with an internationally recognised institute – ‘The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Sri Lanka’. As a member of CIM, I am honoured to associate the Original marketing education provider. CIM was my first qualification in 1997. I want to give that experience to my Star team and where I went in search. After all CIM SL agreed to train my team was a dream coming true and today we have announced the tie up.
“CIM SL role will be to edutain (Education via Entertainment) my team and convert them into qualified and a super team to meet any challenge. I know CIM SL will do exactly that and I know for sure the calibre and discipline of CIM SL. This course will make my team known to the corporate world. I must thank G.S.
