Visvaka Marketing Ltd., a leading innovative food ingredient supplier in Sri Lanka, recently celebrated its 21st anniversary in the industry. 

This remarkable milestone underscores the company’s unparalleled commitment to excellence in food marketing and ingredient supply. Since its inception, Visvaka has evolved into a leading adviser and consultant in technical operations management within the food sector. The company’s expertise extends to being agents and representatives for various foods and ingredients sourced from a global network of suppliers.

The celebration of Visvaka’s 21st year took place at the ‘Cosmic’ – South Asia’s tallest banquet venue, perched at a majestic 751 feet above the ground – on the 26th floor of the Colombo Lotus Tower. The grand setting provided a spectacular backdrop for a look back at the company’s achievements and a glance forward at the innovations that the future holds.

The anniversary celebration also recognised the outstanding contributions of the company’s sales team, with Dimuthu Eranga Wickramathunga being honoured as Champion for his exceptional performance.

Over the last 20 years, the team at Visvaka has played a pivotal role in the transformation of the local food landscape. One notable example is its partnership with Multinational Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), where it successfully modified its recipe to suit local market needs while ensuring consistent product quality, maintaining operational excellence. Similarly, Visvaka’s collaboration with another QSR chain involved enhancing its recipe with new ingredients to improve the technical functionality of the end product. 

These partnerships demonstrate Visvaka’s ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique requirements of its industrial customers. The company’s approach goes beyond mere delivery, integrating valuable experience and engaging in interactive discussions with customers to achieve product excellence and ensure client success.
