Entries for Campaign Asia-Pacific South Asia Agency of the Year Awards will be closing this Wednesday, 31 October 2012. In the first year of these awards, Campaign India has introduced six agency categories.
The aim of these awards is to recognise inspired leadership, management excellence, outstanding business performance and overall achievements in the advertising and communications industries in South Asia.
These awards are designed to allow agencies – big or small – and talent to shine within the local market and region, with the opportunity of network recognition at an Asia Pacific level.
There will be country awards in the Creative Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year, and regional awards (South Asia) in the remaining categories. There are five people categories and two client categories to celebrate marketers and their brands. In the agency categories, judges will award a gold, silver and bronze, while only a winner and runner-up will be announced in the people categories.
The judging panel will comprise senior marketers from key business categories and Campaign’s editors. In Campaign India’s commitment to transparency, independent accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers will tabulate the results of the awards.
Only achievements between 1 November 2011 to 31 October 31 2012 will be evaluated by the judges.
