Atlas felicitates best performing retailers with tours to Bangkok

Ceylon Pencil Co. (Pvt) Ltd. (Atlas), Sri Lankas’ largest stationery manufacturer and marketer, awards Bangkok tours to its best performing retailers at a ceremony held at the BMICH, Colombo with the participation of Atlas Chairman Rasakanth Rasiah and Atlas CEO Nirmal Madanayake recently. The ceremony felicitated the achievements of 35 retailers island-wide who topped sales figures during the ‘Back to School’ promotional campaign in December, 2012. The ceremony honoured the unwavering commitment and dedication of the retailers that plays a key role in the company’s shared success.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ceylon Pencil Co. (Pvt) Ltd. (Atlas), COO/ Director Marketing, Nishantha Hannedige said, “Our company is renowned for appreciation given to our retailers and our persevering efforts to promote their businesses. In return, our retailers deliver excellent growth results in Sri Lanka’s stationary market. In order to further strengthen this strong relationship between the company and the retailers, we rewarded our top performers with tours to Bangkok.”
In addition to having the largest market share of Sri Lanka’s stationary market, Atlas also established the first ever stationary research and development laboratory in Sri Lanka.
