The Green Chillies, one of Sri Lanka’s premiere advertising agency events, organised by The Metal Factor together with the IAA & 4A’s took place in Colombo recently. BBDO Lanka showcased its latest innovation – a prototype of Asia’s First Air Cleaning Mechanical Hoarding – at the event.
Speaking at the stall run by BBDO Lanka, Mr. Santosh Menon, Managing Director BBDO Lanka said: “We at BBDO Lanka are proud to be a part of the Green Chillies 2012 and support the initiative of the IAA, the 4A’s and Metal Factor to develop and groom Sri Lankan talent. There has been a lot of curiosity about the billboard and we believe The Green Chillies is a great place to showcase the latest prototype of our air cleaning hoarding and to explain to our advertising industry friends how this idea works. Besides, this is a great way to make The Green Chillies greener.”
“Attending the Green Chillies for the first time as an agency, BBDO Lanka is proud to be a part of what is a forum and a tradition for the Sri Lankan Advertising industry,” said Ranil Nalawansa, Creative Director of BBDO Lanka.
“As an agency, we decided The Green Chillies was the ideal place to chat to our industry friends about our vision for the future. By demonstrating our Mechanical Air Cleaning Hoarding today, we hope that the industry will be inspired both to take the challenge of conservation on and to come forward with ideas that can make this idea bigger and better.”
