BBDO: Most effective and creative agency network in the world

  • Tops global effective rankings for the second time in four years
BBDO was named the Most Effective Agency Network in the World by Effie Worldwide on 19 June. This is the second time that BBDO has achieved this honour in the four years that the Global Effie Effectiveness Index has been in existence. BBDO was also ranked #1 in the inaugural Global Effie Effectiveness Index in 2011. The Effie Effectiveness Index reveals which companies are the most successful at creating ideas that deliver results as determined by their performance in more than forty global, regional and national Effie programs around the world. The Index recognises the architects of the most effective marketing communications ideas from around the world, determined by their success in more than forty national and regional Effie Award competitions. Effie Worldwide President and CEO Neal Davies said, “Companies that hold the top slot or climb to another level in the Global Effie Index show the worldwide business community how to create ideas that work. Since the Effie Effectiveness Index was launched four years ago, the bar has been raised year after year for companies that are delivering the most effective marketing communication strategies, ideas and results.” Earlier this year, BBDO was named the Most Effective Agency Network in the Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin American regions, which helped catapult it to the #1 position globally by a margin of nearly 250 points over its nearest competitor. BBDO also had the most effective individual agency office. Last year’s runner-up, Sancho BBDO from Colombia, more than doubled its performance in 2014 to win the coveted title of Most Effective Individual Agency in the World. The Gunn Report, which ranks an agency’s performance across all of the most important industry award competitions, this year named BBDO the Most Creative Agency Network in the World.
