BBDO, O&M, JWT among Indian winners at Cannes

On the final day of Cannes Lions 2011, BBDO India picked up a Creative Effectiveness Lion for its work on Gillette titled ‘Women Against Lazy Stubble’, in the first year of the category.

In Film Craft, Ogilvy & Mather India picked up a Gold for ‘Best Use Of Music’ for its film called ‘Train’ for Indian Railways.In Film Lions, Mudra Communications was awarded a Bronze for its ‘Silent National Anthem’ film for BIG Cinemas in the category ‘Corporate Image’, and JWT India also won a Bronze for ‘Endless Goodbye’ for Airtel in ‘Commercial Public Services’.

The Grand Prix winners of the day were Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO London for PepsiCo ‘Sandwich’ in Creative Effectiveness; Droga5 for Puma’s ‘After Hours Athlete’ in Film Craft and ‘Decode Jay-Z with Bing’ in Integrated; and W+K Amsterdam for Nike’s ‘Write The Future’ in Film Lions.
