CBL Sales Team triumphs once again at SLIM NASCO 2015

Ceylon Biscuits Ltd. (CBL) once again confirmed its dominance and excellence in sales leadership receiving three key awards at the recently concluded National Sales Congress 2015 Awards (NASCO), organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).

The SLIM Sales Congress is the premier national event held annually and dedicated to recognise and reward the efforts and performance of Sales Professionals in numerous organisations across the country. As in previous years, NASCO 2015 witnessed a large number of entries from a range of participants in the business sector.08-6

CBL’s leading role in the industry and excellence in marketing was highlighted through this year’s accolades. Nilantha Mendis, representing ‘C range’ received the Gold Award in the Front Liner Category while CBL’s Area Sales Manager Manjula Wijerathna was awarded the Silver Award in the Territory Manager Category and Sales Supervisor Nandana Fernando received the Bronze Award in the Sales Supervisor Category.

CBL’s sales force is organised under three ranges. Whilst Ritzbury Chocolates and Tiara Cakes are categorised into the A range, Munchee Biscuits are categorised into the B range and Lankasoy and Samaposh are categorised into the C range.

The SLIM NASCO Annual Awards has over the years grown in stature and provides an ideal platform to motivate and reward sales personnel nurturing their full potential. This year’s awards held for the 15th consecutive year received over 350 entries. Category awards included Territory Manager, Sales Executive and Front-liner with each category receiving Gold, Silver and Bronze honours.
