The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) in collaboration with The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region (CIM) is organising a luncheon seminar on the Issues Facing Global Marketers on 28 November at the Moonstone and Amethyst, Hilton Colombo from 12.30p.m. to 2.00p.m.
Chartered Institute of Marketing International Chairman Chris Lenton will discuss the challenges marketers are facing about leadership, sustainable campaigns and getting more for less out of their campaigns based on the research the institute had carried out recently with 150 top CEOs and senior executives attached to world’s leading companies.
Lenton, who has been a company director (both public and private) for the last 28 years is the current Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing having been elected in 2007 by the membership to serve on the board and was subsequently elected Chairman by the board. In 2010 he was re-elected by the membership and the board as Chairman for a further term of two years.
The presentation will be followed by a moderated Q & A panel discussion. Prof. Uditha Liyanage, Director, Postgraduate Institute of Management will moderate the session.
Bates Strategic Alliance Chairman/CEO Nimal Gunewardena and Unilever Sri Lanka Limited Marketing Director Asanga Ranasinghe will serve on the panel.
