CIM Sri Lanka Region felicitates senior marketing lecturers

The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region Graduation Ceremony and Membership Investiture 2014 The Graduation Ceremony and Membership Investiture of The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region (CIMSLR) felicitated thirteen senior lecturers in recognition of their contribution towards Sri Lanka’s marketing profession by assisting students and professional marketers to develop their marketing knowledge and skills. The felicitation ceremony was a highlight at the recently concluded Graduation Ceremony and Membership Investiture 2014. Amongst those felicitated were Mohamed Adamaly, Rohantha Athukorala, Prasanna Perera and G. S. Sylvester for their outstanding service of 20 years; Dusty Alahakoon and Michael Ranasinghe for 15 years and Lewie Diasz, Wasantha Fernando, Tharanga Gunasekera, Wahish Hashim, Yasas Hewage, Reyaz Jeffrey and Yarthav Mathiaparanam for 10 years of service. The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region Chairman Shantha Katipearachchi sharing his comments said, “We feel it is necessary to recognise the valuable contributions made by our CIM lecturers and they matter the most to drive students towards achieving excellence. The guidance by our very own CIM lecturers are immense and it is necessary that we recognise their efforts. I congratulate all who were felicitated and wish them success in their future endeavours.” The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region Head of Education Amal Fernando commented, “On this memorable occasion, firstly, I extend my best wishes to our lecturers. The Chartered Institute of Marketing believes in producing business leaders with a sense of responsibility, so that future marketers will not only be responsible marketers but also responsible citizens and proud ambassadors of responsible marketing.
