Chief Operations Officer of CCL-EAP Radio, Ryan Honter, is tipped to be among a distinguished international panel of judges at this year’s AIB International Media Excellence Awards to be held in London in November.
The Association of International Broadcasters is a unique institution which champions creativity and thrives in promoting factual programming and rewards the most inspiring storytellers from across the globe who use the mediums of radio, TV and the internet. The International Media Excellence Awards was inaugurated back in 2005 and have been judged by an independent panel of respected media industry professionals.
Ryan, who grew up in an environment of media and advertising at home, started his career in 1997 and today, spearheads the overall operations of CCL-EAP Radio, which is owned by EAP Holdings and is the holding company of Shree FM, E FM and Ran FM. During his extensive career, Ryan has been exposed to all aspects of broadcasting and excels in the fields of programming, promotions, research, marketing and sales which have immensely contributed to the success of the company.
The panel of judges include senior executives representing media power houses such as Deutsche Welle Germany, Radio New Zealand, Bloomberg TV, The BBC, Channel News Asia and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to name a few.
Previous award recipients at the AIB’s include broadcast giants such as the BBC World Service, NHK, Eurosport, CBS, Al Jazeera, Sir David Attenborough and Stephen Sackur of BBC’s Hard Talk.
