EFFIE 2012: 122 entries make the cut

  • Ogilvy & Mather leads shortlist with 30 entries, while McCann Worldgroup follows with 16 entries

The Advertising Club has announced shortlists for Effie 2012 to be awarded on 4 December 2012. The shortlist features 122 entries from 26 entrants.

This year, the first round of judging was held on 20 and 21 November in Mumbai and on 24 November in Delhi. Similarly, the final round of judging will also be held in both the cities. While the Delhi round of judging is scheduled of 26 November, the Mumbai leg is on 29 November.

In the shortlist announced, Ogilvy & Mather is leading the tally with 30 entries across categories, while McCann Worldgroup follows with 16 shortlisted entries. Lowe Lintas and Partners and Leo Burnett have 11 shortlists each.

Eight entries from JWT India have made the cut, while Taproot India has five shortlisted entries. BBH India, DDB Mudra Group and Grey Worldwide have four shortlisted entries each. Draftfcb-Ulka, Mindshare, Saatchi & Saatchi and Rediffusion Y&R have three shorlists each, while Interface Communications, Jubiliant Foodworks, BBDO India and ABP One have two each.

Havas Worldwide India, Contract Advertising, Cartwheel Creative Consultancy, Jack In The Box Worldwide, Creativeland Asia, SohoSquare Advertising and Marketing Communications, Happy Creative Services, Law&Kenneth and Publicis Communications have one shortlisted entry this year.
