Etisalat’s ‘KnowledgeHub’ e-learning platform continues to expand

SLIM becomes first education partner to join the initiative
Etisalat Lanka’s e-learning platform, ‘KnowledgeHub’ expanded its offering by partnering with the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) to offer the Institute’s Preliminary Certificate in Marketing (PCM) course on the Institute portal. The new partnership enables KnowledgeHub to expand its e-learning realm to offer acclaimed professional content to users around Sri Lanka.
Etisalat’s KnowledgeHub e-learning platform provides tailor-made e-learning solutions through a range of comprehensive tools that support diverse learning requirements for corporate as well as personal training needs. Comprising of three sections, KnowledgeHub caters to corporates, institutes as well as individuals, with course content that can be made available to anyone around the world.
The e-learning tools guide the user through the course modules using multimedia and video-based learning, assessments and examinations, learner progress monitoring, forums and blogs, live interaction with lecturers via video, and more.
The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) has been promoting marketing excellence and elevating the status of marketing in Sri Lanka and the Preliminary Certificate in Marketing (PCM) – one of its flagship courses, is the first step towards a professional status in Marketing. The PCM qualification is specially designed for beginners in Marketing.
SLIM President Gamika De Silva commenting on the new partnership with Etisalat, said: “We are proud to be the first education partner to join hands with Etisalat Lanka on KnowledgeHub. This is the first time we have offered a fully-fledged course online and we are confident it will be of great value to the increasing many who have access to KnowledgeHub. The PCM course has had record intake and we are glad to open it out to even more potential beneficiaries.

Speaking on the introduction of the new course, Etisalat Head of Digital Services Channa Munasinghe said: “KnowledgeHub is a one-stop solution for e-learning provided by Etisalat that makes e-learning easy and convenient. Accessibility to educational resources is an aspect that we have to stress on because KnowledgeHub essentially centralises content and presents it in a user-friendly manner. This partnership with SLIM allows us to expand its reach to a wider audience.
