CIMA evening workshop on Grooming

Business etiquette is a leadership skill that differentiates you and your organisation from your competition. Many a business deal or potential relationship is lost by a businessperson’s lack of courtesy and awareness in the business world.

‘Your reputation precedes you’. Most of us have heard this expression used about us and we all hope that the implication is positive. But how can one be sure that their reputation – the one aspect of them that clients and colleagues are aware of before they meet for the first time – is what one want, or need, it to be?

Each one of us in the business world has to enhance our professional image by equipping ourselves with important business etiquette skills to make the best first impression at every business encounter. Knowing your professional etiquette will give you an edge in today’s competitive corporate marketplace.

Workshop leader Dila Hettiaratchy is a well known corporate trainer. She is a former In flight Training Manager attached to Sri Lanka’s national airline, Sri Lankan Airline. Dila has helped staff of many corporates in Sri Lanka learn to be more confident and courteous in business and social situations. She has presented programmes for university a students and school children too.

In the workshop Dila will discuss professional presence, social etiquette and dining etiquette. The event is scheduled for Friday 10 December 2010 from 3.30 to 6pm at the CIMA Auditorium.

Registrations are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis for the program. Registration forms and further details could be obtained via email by writing to
