Grants Media clinches ‘Media Buying Agency of the Year’ award at World Marketing Congress 2014

Grant Media, a member of the Grant Group, was awarded the prestigious ‘Media Buying Agency of the Year’ award at the recently concluded World Marketing Congress (WMC), held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The annual event was organised by CMO Asia, which is dedicated to impart high level knowledge exchange through leadership and networking amongst senior Chief Marketing Officers and decision makers from different industry segments across 53 participating countries. Grant Group Chairperson/Managing Director Neela Marikkar said: “I am ecstatic that Grant Media was awarded this prestigious award at the World Marketing Congress. I believe this is a testament of the commitment of our staff backed by prudent execution of well-planned media strategies throughout the Group’s 56-year history.” The theme at this year’s WMC was ‘Looking Forward, Looking Back: Drawing on the past to shape the future of marketing.’ This year’s awards were presented via seven categories, namely, Business Analytics, Corporate Excellence, Global Marketing Excellence, Brand Excellence and Women Super Achievers. WMC also compiles a list of the 100 most talented marketing leaders, annually. Grant Media, the media arm of the Grant Group, Sri Lanka’s leading integrated marketing communications organisation, which demonstrated a growth strategy, differentiation, delivery and results achieved as a business unit, have paved way to win this prestigious award.
