Hashan Haputhanthri once again becomes co-author

Hashan Travis Haputhanthri, author and philosopher of Travis Brandsology, founder of IGNITE global motivational program and founder of ‘Hidden Ignitable Domain’ of human behaviour once again became a co-author of recently published India’s Centre of Education Growth and Research book of Corporate Responsibility by writing a full chapter on Interview Skills. f

Before, he was the first Sri Lankan author to be a co-author of another CEGR international book for entrepreneurship where he wrote Marketing and Branding strategy – an Asian Perspective.

Hashan indicated, “It is no point you hold all knowledge in your mind and try to impart at a cost. To educate someone as a knowledgeable person you must be humble enough to give what you have. Share what you know – ethically. Develop the fraternity through knowledge incubation and then to knowledge sharing and then to knowledge integration. That is my mission now as an educationist of this country. I must thank Ravish Roshan of CEGR and his brilliant work. gf

“This chapter will enlighten the Indian corporate domain as to how to Interview a person through a structured method. I have also added of my own findings, such as the ‘Talent Model’. “There are three levels of talents. It is Surface Talents, Detected Talents and Hidden Talents. Corporates must understand in individuals, what are hidden talents that drive detected and surface talents and cultivate them. This is the art to close the unskilled gap. Every layer there are gap created. As leaders we must close these gaps by educating co-workers.”

Haputhanthri is the Head of Marketing for TVS Lanka where they market two wheelers and three wheelers. Having more than 20 years of brand marketing experience for both food and non food, Hashan headed brands like Nivea, Maliban Biscuits (instrumental in launching Maliban Smart Cream Crackers) and in Fiji Islands – Sunquick, Weetbics, Royal Tea, Island Chill Mineral water and 30 other major brands. Hashan has done research in Inca, Egypt and Sri Lankan symbology. He has further researched colour psychology and Namelogy as well. Brand marketing and non conventional marketing are his inventions and newly revamped diploma in Strategic Brand Management for SLIM is also his invention.
