J. Walter Thompson launches new communications integration agency brand

J. Walter Thompson Ltd., a WPP company and one of Sri Lanka’s largest communications groups has announced a new agency brand, ‘THING’.

It would be an independent agency brand of J. Walter Thompson Ltd., offering PR, activation, design, digital, direct marketing and CRM services under one roof.

J. Walter Thompson (Pvt) Ltd. President Himanshu Saxena said: “In the fast evolving world of communications, dealing with only a PR or activation or digital agency independently can no longer solve today’s marketing problems. That is so because the lines between these individual expertise areas are fully blurred. You can’t even imagine when an activation initiative turns into a digital platform that runs into a social media PR campaign and further enters a CRM program. And to leverage this, you need an agency team with unique skill of integrating disciplines rather than being a specialist of one or two streams of expertise.” ‘THING’ is a new age idea that drives the power of integration of multiple disciplines across public relations, activation, digital, design, CRM and direct marketing.
