Kishu Gomes to address how to market an industrial product as an FMCG brand

Of all the strategies that Sri Lankan manufacturers could use today to grow their businesses, industrial marketing remains as the most important, yet least understood strategy. Industrial marketers face several challenges when it comes to marketing an industrial product and quite often, marketers are at a loss to (device methodologies) how to overcome these challenges to keep their target audiences engaged.
In order to shed light on how to overcome such challenges, renowned corporate personality, Kishu Gomes will share his thoughts and insights on ‘Marketing an Industrial Product as an FMCG Brand’ at the next Experience Sharing Forum hosted by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).
Kishu Gomes is the CEO/Managing Director of Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC a leading blue-chip in the country. He is also responsible for Chevron’s Global Lubricants business in Bangladesh and the Maldives. Kishu has served on the Board of Caltex Lubricants India Ltd. and is credited for the role he played as the only Asian representing the Asia Pacific Leadership Team from 2002-2005. He has won the Regional Gold Award for the best business performance and numerous other regional and global awards together with accolades for his distinctive achievements in various aspects of the business.
The Experience Sharing Forum (ESF) serves as a platform for marketing professionals, students, and interested parties to harness knowledge from experienced and eminent personalities in Sri Lanka.
