Leo Burnett Solutions Inc., (LBSI) the local office of the global advertising network Leo Burnett Worldwide, recently completed a successful regional HumanKind workshop which brought together 65 participants from the Pakistan and Bangladesh Burnett offices and its local office.

The three-day workshop was conducted by Leo Burnett India CEO Saurabh Varma. The workshop which was held at Jetwing Light House, Galle was a great opportunity for participants to network and to be immersed in and learn all about ‘HumanKind’ and how the methodology can be applied in their day to day work.

Leo Burnett has consistently drawn its strength and success through its ability to present a people-focused approach to advertising. Fondly referred to as ‘HumanKind’, this is a philosophy that is adopted by Burnetters from across the globe and is always evident in the work produced by them. HumanKind works by relating with people, then engaging with them in order to build an enduring purpose for brands. ‘Acts’ with a purpose are central to the HumanKind philosophy and unlike traditional media, ‘Acts’ have the ability to transform the way a person thinks, feels and ultimately, behaves.

“Anyone can be creative, but to be creative enough to change how people think, to change how people feel, to be able to change opinion on matters that are of value to us all, this is HumanKind, the very purpose of our company,” said Leo Burnett Solutions Inc. Managing Director Ranil de Silva.

This year Leo Burnett Solutions Inc. celebrates its 17th anniversary in Sri Lanka. Over the years, the agency has built many powerful brands and meaningful partnerships with its clients, whilst delivering gratifying results and gaining industry recognition in Sri Lanka, the region and globally. The company handles a diverse portfolio of clients; it is one of the world’s largest agency networks and is a member of the Publicis Groupe, the world’s fourth largest communications company.
