A team of senior members from Madison Media (Sri Lanka) recently participated in a Madison Group (India) workshop in Bombay, which brought together over a 100 Madisonites from all parts of the subcontinent.
The Madison Group is recognised in India for its robust analysis of data and analytics. The group especially focuses on sub continental conditions in their analytics which are different to those in Europe or US and far more related to Sri Lanka.
The training program titled ‘Madison Advantage’ covered the areas of developing a fruitful media strategy, implementation planning and data lead media planning, essentials of buying and buying strategies and latest media optimising techniques.
The Madison Group in India is rated as one of the best in the business, outperforming many of the multinationals operating in India to become the second largest media billing agency group in the sub-continent.
Madison Media Sri Lanka following in the footstep of their Indian counterpart, and drawing from its pool of resources and knowledge has already proved itself as a sharp media planning unit.
In Sri Lanka, Madison Media, together with Media Factory Ltd., the two media agencies of the Mediafactory Group, are today among the top agencies in terms of media billings.
Madison Media CEO Monika Weerasinghe said: “It was a huge learning experience and the insight into new methods and tools is timely and useful knowledge in sharpening our competitive edge.”
The team led by Monika, included Shanthi Sivagnanasundaram, Upendra Gamage and Gowshik Sathishiva.
