MAS Intimates feted for best HR Strategy at Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2011

MAS Intimates, the pioneering lingerie manufacturing arm of the US$ 800 million entity MAS Holdings, was honoured with the award for the Best HR Strategy in Line with Business at Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2011 at the awards gala hosted by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress & Stars of the Industry Group with CMO Asia on 22 July 2011 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore.  

The Awards, being held for the 2nd consecutive year, honours organisations and individuals who exhibit exemplary practices in developing and managing talent. Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards has participation of 37 countries from Oman to New Zealand. The Jury, consisting of internationally renowned Senior Leaders in Human Resource Management evaluated all candidates, where the most impressive were then shortlisted. This Award rates MAS Intimates HR strategy on par with companies such as Reliance, Tata Consultancy Services and Hindustan Unilever.

MAS Intimates, known for its leadership in people management innovations, is strengthened by 15,000 associates, who are nurtured and inspired to reach their highest potential, both professionally and personally.

The Award was accepted by Dinal Peiris, Director of Human Resources for MAS Intimates from Professor Col. A Balasubamanium, Founder President, Sri Balaji Society and Executive Director, BIMM and Sanjay Muthal, Managing Director of NuGrid Consulting. Receiving the award, Dinal Peiris said, “our business is very much people driven. Having the ‘right’, holistic strategy is what has moved MAS Intimates forward across the years.

We are continuously innovating to make it better, and that has made a real difference to the lives of our people as well as to the business.”
